PHOTOGRAPHIE

TETRAlens

TETRAlens is gathering all the expressions of my photographic work both recent or from several years ago. Showing mainly my live music photos acts, but as well, a small preview of my other topics on photography, such as landscape, details, travels, and architecture.

As long as I can remember, I've always been capturing through lenses what my eyes wanted to immortalize, and this passion has followed me in my daily life or in my travels, my eyes constantly looking at nature, cities, and people as inspiration for artistical expression.

Music has always been there somehow in my life, and brought me strength. I've felt for long the need to express myself through different ways, writing, drawing, creating, painting, capturing through photography. Even after challenging times, I have been able to be myself again into this art in particular. And through Music.
This is how it came together.

When I found my way out of a tough phase, music was like a light, lifting me up along with creation, and the happiness I had in concerts, feeling the vibrations and emotions, increased to absolute bliss when I eventually took my first proper photography during a concert.
I've been mainly photoshooting Rock and Metal bands, but ambiant or folk music as well, jazz or blues, from international success bands, to emerging new artists.

My main focus in my work is to catch emotions and be able to transmit it through my pictures. A glance, fan's devotion, a musician in his solo, the atmosphere of a show, the energy of a band, the crowd's frenziness.... So many things that makes a moment special, a memory bright.

Covid has been difficult to deal with, being away from live music, but I tried my best to wish for better days...

After going through different hardship in my life, facing grief, loss, disillusion, and health issues, one of the only things that keeps me above dark waters was, and is my photographic work. And music.
Resilience and recognition og my work always pushin me to keep on embrassing life, with all it could offer.
